Global Online Learning markets MainTrain, a Trainee program for employers with large mainframe environments. MainTrain consists of work experience with sponsoring employers and tertiary study leading to the Bachelor of Information Technology (Industry) through Griffith University. GOL short lists candidates from the top 25% of the first year student population across Australia and sponsors engage the successful candidates on salary for three years. They complete their degree through summer schools and online training taking subjects that specialise in mainframe technology. GOL is conducting the fourth annual intake of Trainees in December and is happy to discuss expressions of interest from mainframe employers attending Interaction 2005. |
